This blog provides an informal forum for terrestrial invertebrate watchers to post recent sightings of interesting observations in the southern Vancouver Island region.    Mr E sends some recent (and maybe not quite so recent!) pictures of a variety of invertebrates.  First, a buprestid beetle on August 8:
