<\/strong>Val George writes:&nbsp; Yesterday morning, June 12, I did a very short walk in Uplands Park during which I saw three  <strong>Sheep Moths<\/strong> <strong><em>Hemileuca eglanterina<\/em><\/strong><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp; I also found this pupa of a White  <strong>Satin Moth <\/strong><strong><em>Leucoma salicis<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; The other pupa is a  <strong>Cabbage White,<\/strong> which was on my kale in my Oak Bay garden.&nbsp; In the last few days I&#8217;ve seen several adult  <strong>Cabbage Whites<\/strong> that have just emerged from their pupae.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" style=\"width: 634px; Rosemary Jorna<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;&nbsp; Jochen M\u00f6hr writes from Metchosin:&nbsp; This morning there were just two  <strong><em>Tortricidia testacea<\/em><\/strong> and one very pale <strong><em>Hydriomena<\/em><\/strong><strong>  <\/strong>of which I attach a picture.&nbsp;&nbsp; Jeremy Tatum writes:&nbsp; Yes, I agree, it&#8217;s a highflyer (<em>Hydriomena  <\/em>sp.), but it&#8217;s quite a worn specimen, and it would be a brave person to identify it. &nbsp;If it were February, I&#8217;d guess at  <em>H. nubilofasciata<\/em>, but I don&#8217;t know if any would last until June, even though this one is worn.&nbsp; Otherwise  <em>H. irata, californiata, expurgata&#8230;<\/em> all look like possibilities.&nbsp; Let&#8217;s just leave it as  <strong><em>Hydriomena <\/em><\/strong><strong>sp.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" style=\"width: 454px;
