no rain but lots of dew on the grass in the morning.\u00a0 The big maple tree next to the house is starting to bloom.\u00a0 Could that be it?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Jeremy Tatum comments:\u00a0 No one seems to know why some nights are good moth nights and some aren\u2019t.\u00a0 Everyone seems to have his\/her own theory.\u00a0 As for maples, my experience is that very few moth caterpillars feed on maples &#8211;
