However, being optimists, we have not cancelled the walk and Jeremy Tatum will be at the <strong>Mount Tolmie summit at 1 p.m<\/strong>., rain or shine.\u00a0 You never know, the sun may shine long enough for a butterfly or two to appear.\u00a0 If there is steady rain, however, we are unlikely to find anything. \u00a0Although\u00a0 butterflies have been scarce in September, there have been some spectacular rarities, such as M<strong>onarch, American Lady, Mourning Cloak <\/strong>and <strong>California Tortoiseshell.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>And an <strong> Orange Sulphur<\/strong> is not unknown at this time of year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2018 October 5 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 The Monthly Butterfly Walk is scheduled for Sunday, October\u00a0 7.\u00a0 \u00a0The weather forecast is not great.
