\u00a0\u00a0 Judy Spearing sends a photograph of a Catocala<\/em><\/strong> caterpillar, most likely C. aholibah<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Like the one shown On May 18, this one was probably looking for some quiet spot to pupate.\u00a0 That is when they are most likely to be found.\u00a0 When they are still living on oak twigs, feeding on the leaves, they are to all intents and purposes invisible \u2013 one of the best disguised of all caterpillars.<\/p>\n
