\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Gordon Hart photographed a beetle at Witty\u2019s Lagoon yesterday, and we are much indebted to Scott Gilmore for identifying it as an Oregon Tiger Beetle<\/strong>.\u00a0 Gordon also writes that yesterday in his Highlands garden he saw two Green Commas<\/strong>, and a Sara Orangetip<\/strong> as well as a number of Western Spring Azures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jochen Moehr continues to find lots of moths in his moth trap in Metchosin.\u00a0 He counted 22 Melanolophia imitata <\/em>this morning.\u00a0 Here is one of them:<\/p>\n
