left;\"><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Gordon Hart photographed a beetle at Witty\u2019s Lagoon yesterday, and we are much indebted to Scott Gilmore for identifying it as an <strong>Oregon Tiger Beetle<\/strong>.\u00a0 Gordon also writes that yesterday in his Highlands garden he saw two <strong>Green Commas<\/strong>, and a <strong>Sara Orangetip<\/strong> as well as a number of <strong>Western Spring Azures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"cicind.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/cicind.jpg\" width=\"712.8\" height=\"490.644\" name=\"null\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Oregon\u00a0 Tiger Beetle <em>Cicindela oregona <\/em>(Col.: Carabidae \u2013 Cicindelinae) Gordon Hart<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Jochen Moehr continues to find lots of moths in his moth trap in Metchosin.\u00a0 He counted 22 <em>Melanolophia imitata <\/em>this morning.\u00a0 Here is one of them:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img
