{"id":5647,"date":"2018-03-18T15:38:17","date_gmt":"2018-03-18T22:38:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=5647"},"modified":"2018-03-18T15:45:53","modified_gmt":"2018-03-18T22:45:53","slug":"march-18-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=5647","title":{"rendered":"March 18"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>2018 March 18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>Two years ago, on March 21, Rosemary Jorna photographed a pyraloid moth (see 2016 March 30 Invert Alert), which we were unable to identify.&nbsp; Now, on March 15&nbsp;&nbsp; this year, Moralea Milne found and photographed the same species in Metchosin.   &#8220;It appeared to fly out of a Manzanita bush. They seem to be only on the west facing slope, grass\/moss hillside, above 200 m, from a quick reconnaissance.
