{"id":5527,"date":"2018-02-07T15:17:20","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T23:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=5527"},"modified":"2018-02-07T15:20:18","modified_gmt":"2018-02-07T23:20:18","slug":"2018-february-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=5527","title":{"rendered":"2018 February 7"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>2018 February 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Moths are beginning to show themselves at least in Metchosin.&nbsp; Jochen Moehr sends a couple of geometrid photographs.&nbsp;  <strong><em>Hydriomena nubilofasciata<\/em><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>is one of the earliest moths to appear in the year.&nbsp; Moth of the genus  <em>Hydriomena<\/em> are often called &#8220;highfliers&#8221; &#8211; though I don&#8217;t know if they all fly particularly high.
