This makes determination of Val&#8217;s bugs risky! While  <em>C. ligata <\/em>is a possibility (apparently the species varies in colour from dark in the south to bright green in the north), we shall opt for caution on this site and label them just  <strong><em>Chlorochroa <\/em><\/strong><strong>sp.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" class=\"\" alt=\"\" src=\"file:\/\/\/F:\/DOCUME%7E1\/tatum\/LOCALS%7E1\/Temp\/msohtml1\/01\/clip_image004.jpg\">  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" originalheight=\"782\" originalwidth=\"1200\" name=\"\" title=\"bug adult.jpg\" height=\"388.3933333333333\" width=\"596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/bug-adult.jpg\">  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Adult <em>Chlorochroa <\/em>sp. I wish it had chosen a more natural backdrop, but I was able to get some photographs of   a <strong>Pacific Spiketail <\/strong><strong><em>Cordulegaster dorsalis<\/em><\/strong>.
