{"id":4678,"date":"2017-07-28T18:55:08","date_gmt":"2017-07-29T01:55:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=4678"},"modified":"2017-07-28T18:57:34","modified_gmt":"2017-07-29T01:57:34","slug":"july-28-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=4678","title":{"rendered":"July 28"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>2017 July 28<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>Jeremy Tatum writes:&nbsp; I visited Mount Tolmie just after 6:00 pm today.&nbsp; There were one or two  <strong>Painted Ladies <\/strong>and <strong>Red Admirals <\/strong>on the reservoir or flying around the Jeffery Pine, and at least one  <strong>West Coast Lady <\/strong>on the reservoir.&nbsp; Also, just outside the entrance to the reservoir, flying around or perching on the  <em>Mahonia<\/em> or the <em>Laburnum<\/em>, a pristine fresh <strong>Anise Swallowtail<\/strong>.&nbsp; I wonder if it had bred on the hill, perhaps on one of the numerous Fennels there.&nbsp; Also below, a very young caterpillar of a  <strong>Western Tiger Swallowtail <\/strong>found on willow at Panama Flats.
