(Hym.: Formicidae)\u00a0 Aziza Cooper<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gordon Hart writes: On Monday, May 22, 2017, I saw my first of year<strong> Pale<\/strong> <strong>Tiger Swallowtail <\/strong>here at home, along with a <strong>Painted Lady, Brown Elfin, three Spring Azures,<\/strong> three <strong>Cabbage Whites<\/strong>, and a female <strong>Green Comma<\/strong> <strong> <em>Polygonia faunus<\/em><\/strong><em>. <\/em>\u00a0I have attached a photo of the comma, and a <strong>Narcissus Bulb Fly.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>Several were heard announcing their presence with a loud buzzing. There are lots of dragonflies around now.
