However, we can see the venation of this example well enough to be reasonably certain that this insect is indeed an <strong>ichneumonid wasp<\/strong> and not a braconid.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"wasp.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/581a74303dc51.jpeg\" width=\"599.2\" Salal leaf.\u00a0 Because of its size, we believe it is probably <em>Lauria cylindracea.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" cylindracea<\/em> (Pul.: Lauriidae)\u00a0 Thomas Barbin<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The spider below is probably a youngster and it may be difficult to identify it
