{"id":3164,"date":"2016-09-08T17:45:17","date_gmt":"2016-09-09T01:45:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=3164"},"modified":"2016-09-08T18:46:52","modified_gmt":"2016-09-09T01:46:52","slug":"september-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=3164","title":{"rendered":"September 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>2016 September 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Aziza Cooper sends photographs of a moth and a snail, both photographed on September 7.&nbsp; The moth was on the wall of the Bob Wright Building at UVic.&nbsp; It is the  <strong>July Highflyer<\/strong>, an exceedingly variable Holarctic species.&nbsp; So great is the range of variation in the July Highflyer that it took some time to recognize this one for what it is. The snail was at Fort Rodd.
