{"id":2901,"date":"2016-07-13T19:50:52","date_gmt":"2016-07-14T03:50:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=2901"},"modified":"2016-07-13T20:56:01","modified_gmt":"2016-07-14T03:56:01","slug":"july-13-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=2901","title":{"rendered":"July 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>2016 July 12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>Jeremy Tatum shows a photograph of a <em>Nycteola <\/em>species reared from a caterpillar found at Blenkinsop Lake, where the moth was released today.&nbsp; The species  <em>N. frigidana<\/em> and <em>N. cinereana<\/em> can be difficult to tell apart.&nbsp; It is often thought that the caterpillar of the former feeds on willow, and the latter feeds on poplar.
