\u00a0 Submitting photographs to Invertebrate Alert.\u00a0 <\/strong>It would be very helpful if PC-contributors would submit photographs as attachments<\/u> with .jpg or .jpeg extension.\u00a0 <\/strong>[I hate to put it another way, but it is quite time-consuming and a lot of work when photographs are submitted otherwise!]\u00a0\u00a0 This note applies to PC-users.\u00a0 Only a few are using Macs \u2013 please carry on doing it the way you are doing at present.<\/p>\n

Also, I must ask contributors to limit themselves to sixpixmax \u2013 i.e no more than six pictures from a single contributor per day.\u00a0 Thank you all!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Gordon Hart reports a Western Tiger Swallowtail<\/strong> from Uplands Park, June 13.\u00a0 Geoffrey Newall saw two Sheep Moths<\/strong> there on the same day.<\/p>\n

Val George reports the first Red Admiral <\/strong>this year from Mount Douglas, June 13.\u00a0 Also, there were four Painted Ladies<\/strong> and two or three Pale Tiger Swallowtails<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Marie O\u2019Shaughnessy writes from Swan Lake, June 12: \u00a0Three Cardinal Meadowhawks<\/strong>, two were in tandem and hiding out of the wind. \u00a0Two Common Green Darners<\/strong> that\u00a0wouldn\u2019t\u00a0hover, just patrolled\u00a0continuously.\u00a0 One female Blue Dasher<\/strong>.\u00a0 Also, there was a very worn Mourning Cloak<\/strong> and a brief visit from a\u00a0Western Tiger Swallowtail.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ian Cooper photographed this spider spotted on a tree trunk on June 13 in View Royal.\u00a0 Dr Robb Bennett agrees that it is a species of Cybaeus<\/em>, possibly C. signifer<\/em>, but he can\u2019t be certain of the species.<\/p>\n
