While in Parksville recently, Marie O\u2019Shaughnessy photographed the grasshopper below in the same place where she photographed a Sand Wasp (see July 22).\u00a0\u00a0 James Miskelly writes:\u00a0 The grasshopper is a Trimerotropis<\/em><\/strong> species. If in the same habitat as Bembix<\/em> then T. pallidipennis<\/em><\/strong> would be a good guess.<\/p>\n
