\u00a0\u00a0 Aziza Cooper writes:\u00a0\u00a0 On May 12, at Mount Tolmie about 3 pm, there was a Painted Lady<\/b> and one Anise Swallowtail<\/b>, plus a Cabbage White<\/b> at the rocky summit. I didn’t see
\nany butterflies on the reservoir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0 Also on May 12, at Blenkinsop \/ Lochside Trail, there were four Mourning Cloaks,<\/b> two Commas<\/b> \u00a0[all but certainly Satyr Commas<\/b> at that location \u2013 Jeremy Tatum], two Cabbage Whites<\/b> and one Western Spring <\/b>Azure<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0On May 11, at Goldstream day use area, there was one Satyr Comma<\/b>,\u00a0 3 Western

\u00a0\u00a0 Gordon Hart writes that on\u00a0 May 7, he saw one Western Brown Elfin<\/b> on the Panhandle Trail. We almost stepped on it, but it did not stay around for a photo. Also, many Western Spring Azures.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Jeff Gaskin writes:\u00a0 Bill Dancer tells me that he saw a Western Tiger Swallowtail<\/b> in his garden on Sherwood Drive (Arbutus\/Queenswood area) last weekend on the 6th or 7th of May.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0 Presumably as a result of the recent computer difficulties (now, we hope, over) I missed an earlier contribution from Kirsten Mills.\u00a0 She writes: On May 2nd I went for a walk on Mount Tolmie. I saw 1 Western Spring Azure<\/b>, 2 Sara Orangetips<\/b>, 1 Propertius Duskywing<\/b>, 1 Mourning Cloak<\/b> and 1 Western Brown Elfin<\/b>. Here’s a picture of the Mourning Cloak<\/b>. Here is also the pictures on May 10th at Mount Tolmie of the Red Admiral<\/b> and California Tortoiseshell<\/b> that were\u00a0there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
