There are other species in the genus which look very similar but show more colour variation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr Robb Bennett writes about the spider below:\u00a0 It&#8217;s a female <strong>philodromid crab spider<\/strong>.
