On Monday, April 11 I saw two <strong>Cabbage Whites, <\/strong>\u00a0and on April 15, I saw one more <strong>Cabbage White<\/strong>. Those are the only butterflies I&#8217;ve seen this year so far.\u00a0 Aziza continues:\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a photo of a tiny beetle, from my apartment on Salsbury Way near Tattersall. I took it on April 6.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/C-Insect-tiny-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"654\" height=\"478\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Anthrenus verbasci <\/em>(Col.: Dermestidae)\u00a0 Aziza Cooper<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rosemary Jorna writes:\u00a0 I am sending a number of views of the same bumble bee near the Charters Creek trestle in the Sooke Hills.\u00a0\u00a0 I left home in sunshine , hoping for butterflies, but I got grey, cool and sprinkles of rain.\u00a0 \u00a0The bee was the only insect.
