We have two species here: <strong><em>Anyphaena aperta<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Anyphaena pacifica<\/em><\/strong>. <em>Pacifica<\/em> is more widespread but, around Victoria and Vancouver Island at least, <em>aperta<\/em> is much more common. And there are many specimens out and about right now.<\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/very-small-spider.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"519\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Anyphaena <\/em>sp. (Ara.: Anyphaenidae)\u00a0 Rosemary Jorna<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Rosemary found 13 of the snails.
