   <\/strong>Val George reports the following butterflies from Mount Douglas on May 16:  22 Cabbage<\/strong> Whites<\/strong>; 2 Western Spring Azures<\/strong>; one each of Sara Orangetip, Propertius Duskywing, Pale Tiger Swallowtail,<\/strong> Western Tiger Swallowtail<\/strong> and Painted Lady<\/strong>.   Val also reports two Painted Ladies<\/strong> <\/em><\/strong>on the summit of Mount Douglas, May 21.  Photograph of one of them below.<\/p>\n

     <\/strong>Mike McGrenere reports a Mourning Cloak<\/strong> from Livesay Road, Central Saanich, May 18.  And on May 22, Mike McGrenere and Jeremy Tatum saw a Mourning Cloak<\/strong> and a Satyr Comma<\/strong> along Lochside Trail north of Blenkinsop Lake.<\/p>\n

     <\/strong>Jeremy Tatum shows a Raspberry Weevil<\/strong> and a California Snout Moth.<\/strong>  <\/strong> The caterpillar of the moth, which fed on Stinging Nettle, was shown on May 9.<\/p>\n
