<\/strong>Val George reports the following butterflies from Mount Douglas on May 16:&nbsp; 22<strong> Cabbage<\/strong>  <strong>Whites<\/strong>; 2 <strong>Western Spring Azures<\/strong>; one each of S<strong>ara Orangetip, Propertius Duskywing, Pale Tiger Swallowtail,<\/strong>  <strong>Western Tiger Swallowtail<\/strong> and <strong>Painted Lady<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp; <em>Vanessa cardui <\/em>(Lep.: Nymphalidae)&nbsp;&nbsp; Val George<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>Mike McGrenere reports a <strong>  Mourning Cloak<\/strong> from Livesay Road, Central Saanich, May 18.&nbsp; And on May 22, Mike McGrenere and Jeremy Tatum saw a  <strong>Mourning Cloak<\/strong> and a <strong>Satyr Comma<\/strong> along Lochside Trail north of Blenkinsop Lake.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>Jeremy Tatum shows a <strong>  Raspberry Weevil<\/strong> and a <strong>California Snout Moth.<\/strong><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong>  The caterpillar of the moth, which fed on Stinging Nettle, was shown on May 9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" style=\"width: 459px;
