Which species would be most entertaining for you to see?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; Jeremy Tatum responds:&nbsp;&nbsp; My!&nbsp;&nbsp; What a choice!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; How can I possibly answer that one?&nbsp; I can&rsquo;t think of any I <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">wouldn&rsquo;t<\/span> want.&nbsp; So &#8211; Viewers of this site &#8211; please send your preferences to me&nbsp; (jtatum at uvic.ca) and I&rsquo;ll pass them on to Jeremy Gatten.&nbsp; In the meantime, I, too, have difficulty with <em>Venusia <\/em>and <em>Xanthorhoe<\/em>.&nbsp; I also have difficulty with <em>E. olivacea\/annulata<\/em> so it would be nice to see <em>olivacea<\/em> if Jeremy G. is 100 percent sure.&nbsp; I can&rsquo;t remember if <em>E. rubrica<\/em> has appeared on this site before; I think it probably has, but very rarely.&nbsp; <em>Hypena<\/em> is another difficult one, and it would be nice to see a certain ID. Otherwise send &rsquo;em all, perhaps at a rate of three per day!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; We have heard from Scott Gilmore in Upper Lantzville, who earlier sent us pictures of a caterpillar and pupae from <em>Ceanothus<\/em>, and which we suspected were <strong><em>Drepanulatrix<\/em><\/strong>. &nbsp;One of the moths has now emerged, and it is indeed <em>Drepanulatrix<\/em> &#8211; but the question is &#8211; which one?&nbsp; Both Scott and I (Jeremy T) believe it is <strong><em>D. monicaria<\/em><\/strong>&#8211; the only problem with that being that the species is apparently not on the Canadian list.&nbsp; So this is very exciting!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-1325\" title=\"Drep2.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/image550750c93396a.jpeg\" alt=\"\" name=\"\" width=\"588.8\" height=\"315.4986666666666\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/image550750c93396a.jpeg 1200w, https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/image550750c93396a-300x161.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/image550750c93396a-768x412.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/image550750c93396a-1024x549.jpeg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Drepanulatrix <\/em>sp.
