{"id":10978,"date":"2020-06-03T10:28:49","date_gmt":"2020-06-03T17:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=10978"},"modified":"2020-06-04T11:33:04","modified_gmt":"2020-06-04T18:33:04","slug":"june-3-morning-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vicnhs.bc.ca\/?p=10978","title":{"rendered":"June 3 morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>2020 June 3 morning<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>This morning, a whole bunch of small unidentified insects \u2013 one by Jeremy Tatum, the rest by Mr E.\u00a0 Suggestions would be gratefully received.\u00a0 I have labelled them with tentative identifications \u2013 mostly at Order level.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first, a small moth reared from Garry Oak on Christmas Hill.\u00a0 \u00a0Family Plutellidae, Subfamily Ypsolophinae, or, as some taxonomists would have it,\u00a0 Family Ypsolophidae.\u00a0 \u00a0Somewhat resembles <em>Ypsolopha cervella, <\/em>also known as <em>Abebaea cervella<\/em>, but may be a different species.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" style=\"width: 624px;
