<\/strong>Jochen M\u00f6hr reports seeing several <strong>Sara Orangetips  <\/strong>and <strong>Western Spring Azures <\/strong>near his Metchosin home on April 13.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Gordon Hart writes&nbsp; from the Highlands: April 13, I saw my first <strong>Western Spring Azure<\/strong> of the year, as well as a  <strong>California Tortoiseshell<\/strong> and a <strong>Green Comma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Barb McGrenere writes from the Cordova Bay area, April 13:&nbsp; This morning, one  <strong>Cabbage White<\/strong> flew through our backyard.&nbsp; And around 4 pm today, Mike and I saw 1  <strong>California Tortoiseshell<\/strong> on the Mount Tolmie reservoir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Rosemary Jorna sends photographs of a <strong>crab spider <\/strong>&nbsp;from the Kemp Lake area, April 13.&nbsp; Robb Bennett identifies it as a member of the genus  <strong><em>Xysticus<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; Without close examination of the specimen, it is not possible to be certain of the species.&nbsp;  <em>X. pretiosus <\/em>and&nbsp; <em>X.locuples<\/em> are possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" style=\"width: 624px;
