\u00a0\u00a0 Mr E sends photographs of some small beetles found on on the spadix of the Skunk Cabbage Lysichiton americanus<\/em> in Saanich April 10.\u00a0\u00a0 Charlene Wood writes:\u00a0 These are great little rove beetles – Pelecomalium<\/em><\/strong> sp<\/strong>. \u00a0These beetles are known to pollinate skunk cabbage – I\u2019ve collected many from this plant on Galiano Island.<\/p>\n
