2020 April 8 morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Gordon Hart writes from Highlands:\u00a0 We had quite an exciting day with lots of butterflies and other insects about. We saw our first of the year Sara Orangetip<\/strong>, but it would not stop for a picture. A Moss\u2019<\/strong> Elfin<\/strong> perched on the ground. \u00a0One California Tortoiseshell<\/strong> appeared again and two commas<\/strong>. \u00a0There were lots of bee flies<\/strong> around especially on the Red-flowering Currant. I also have a photo of a bee species I can\u2019t identify.<\/p>\n
