Team Witty, one of the 2009 Leadership Victoria community action groups,
has teamed up with the Victoria Natural History Society and Capital
Regional District Parks to build a teaching shelter at Witty's Lagoon.
The Shelter will be the first of its kind in the Capital Regional
District Parks system: a purpose-built structure to deliver environmental educational
programs in an outdoor classroom setting.
The teaching shelter at Witty's Lagoon will enable interpretive staff to enhance and diversify their programming, while allowing the Victoria Natural History Society to utilize the site to expand its mandate, developing interest in natural history, as well as studying and protecting the local flora, fauna and habitat.

Team Witty is made up of 5 individuals, representing various sectors
within the Victoria community. Find complete bios at the link below.
